Dr. Douglas Zormelo is the Chief Executive Officer of Zormelo & Associates, a management and development consultancy in Accra, Ghana. He is also the Chairman of the Upstream Petroleum Service Providers Association of Ghana (UPSPAG), and the Chairman of the Oil and Gas Sector Skills Body of the Commission for Technical and Vocational Education Training. He is an experienced management and development expert who has worked in both the private and public sector, and in academia. He holds a PhD from the London School of Economics and has worked in the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Ghana, and the ECOWAS Commission. He has worked at the Overseas Development Institute, in London, and with leading consultancy firms including Price Waterhouse, Ernst and Young, and KPMG. He taught at the London School of Economics, University of Ghana and was Visiting Professor at the Graduate School of Internal Studies, University of Denver . He has also consulted for various international organisations including the United Nations, Economic Commission for Africa, and the Economic Community of West African States.
