Dr. Fareed Kwesi Arthur
Head, The National (AFCFTA) Coordination Office
Dr. Fareed Arthur currently heads the National (AfCFTA) Coordination Office as the National Coordinator. Prior to this, he was the Deputy Chief of Staff, African Union Commission. He is an Organization and Systems Development Consultant. An expert on African and International Affairs with over Thirty (30) years experience.
Dr. Arthur holds a PHD in Economics and an Advanced Certificate in Organization & Systems Development from Gestalt Institute of Cleveland. He is also a Founding Partner of the OD Centre in Ghana.
In 2011, as Strategic Advisor to the African Union, Dr. Arthur was closely associated with the conceptualisation and the formation of the AfCFTA.
Dr. Arthur has extensive experience in International Development, African Integration and Development and a Professional specialization in Strategic Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Systems (SPMES), Development Financing, Public and Private Sector Intermediation & Project Management
