Dr. Kwame Boakye-Agyei is the head of operations for the Ghana Upstream Petroleum Chamber. A Health, Safety, Environment and Security Management (HSES) professional with more than 20 years of experience in supporting Oil & Gas and other extractive industries.
Kwame has been the Africa Region Health, Safety, Environment and Security (HSES) Director for Kosmos Energy, a consultant to the World Bank in Washington DC and an adjunct Professor for the George Mason University and American University in the USA, and the School of Public Health, Legon.
He holds a PhD in Environmental Science and Public Policy at the George Mason University, Virginia.
