Frema Osei Afriyie is the co – founder and Executive Director of Destra Energy Group, a fully indigenous Ghanaian company providing ancillary services to key participants in oil and gas and power sectors on the Continent. Frema is a business development strategist and has successfully managed and developed projects in the upstream oil and gas sector, power generation, power distribution and renewable energy projects; with a particular focus on sub–Saharan Africa. Frema continues to plan and execute solutions and services led strategy to grow revenue in the industry she operates. She has built a reputation in this traditionally male dominated arena, as a key investment relationship expert, advising on route to market commercial activities and a variety of sophisticated transactions. Coupled with her academic background; with a BA in Political Science and Government from The George Washington University, DC, USA and double masters; MSc in Managing in the Energy Industries and LLM, Energy Law and Policy from the Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law & Policy (CEPMLP) at the University of Dundee, Frema continues to highlight her strengths as a commercial leader and a notable entrepreneur.
