James Dwamena Yamoah

James Dwamena Yamoah is the Director of Petroleum Upstream at the Ministry of Energy, a Philanthropist and Devout Christian. He attended the University of Ghana, Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Heriot Watt University in Edinburgh, and Manchester Metropolitan University. Petroleum Geoscience, HSSE, Leadership, Finance, and Strategy are all areas of his expertise. His Msc in Finance and Strategy dissertation was titled "Developing a set of criteria for assessing IGCs for equity participation in Petroleum Agreement." He was GNPC's General Manager Technical, General Manager HSSE and Chief Operating Officer. James has worked in Ghana's Oil and Gas industry for over 15 years. He is a GhIG council member, as well as SEG and AAPG member. He also chairs and served on the boards of several Ghanaian Public and Private Companies.
