Ing. Jonathan Narh-Dometey is an Engineer by Profession and a member in good standing with the Ghana Institution of Engineering. He has worked in both the downstream and upstream petroleum sector. In the Downstream sector, he worked with BOST as a Project manager on the planning, design and development of oil and gas infrastructure for petroleum storage, transportation, and distribution. In the Upstream Petroleum Sector, He has played key roles in the development of technical regulations for HSE and Fiscal metering as well as coordinating the establishment of systems for the issuance of technical permits during field development, production, and operation. Currently, he is the manager for Business Advisory and Enterprise Development at the Petroleum Commission. His passion is to develop the capacity of Indigenous Ghanaian Companies to make them globally attractive, competitive, and sustainable in the upstream petroleum sector. He has over 18 years of upstream and downstream petroleum experience in project development and economics for petroleum infrastructure, industry regulation and local content development.
