Ms. Adwoa Aaba Arthur is a Principal Investment Promotion Officer at the Legal Division of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC). Ms. Arthur holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and English from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in the USA. A Juris Doctorate (J.D.) Law Degree from the Michigan State University College of Law, East Lansing, Michigan in the USA; and a Qualifying Certificate in Law from the Ghana School of Law. She is a member of the New Jersey Bar Association and the Ghana Bar Association. She has several years of experience as a lawyer, which beganin 2003 as a judicial law clerk with a Judge at the First Judicial District of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, USA. She then worked as a Contract Attorney and Document Review Analyst in Washington, DC. In Ghana, she has experience in the banking industry, the telecommunications industry, FMCG and the public sector.
