Vincent Yankey

Director, Finance - Petroleum Commission

Vincent Yankey is the Director of Finance, Human Capital & Administration at the Petroleum Commission. He is a seasoned finance executive with varied experience which cuts across Private Equity Investments and Venture Fund Management, Corporate Finance, Financial Management and Control, Credit Management, Enterprise Resource Planning and Oil and Gas Finance and Accounting. He currently oversees the Petroleum Commission's budget, finance, and treasury management as well as investor relations. With a progressive finance career spanning over twenty-five years, Vincent has acquired both local and international experience in Senior Management roles. He started his finance career with Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers) from 1994 to 1999, after which he travelled to the UK for further studies. Prior to joining the Petroleum Commission in April 2013, he managed a Ghanaian public fund (now Exim Bank) for a period of three years.

He was also the Finance Manager at Fidelity Capital Partners, a Private Equity firm within the Fidelity Group in Ghana (2003 – 2006). Vincent was also the West Africa Regional Manager of E+Co Incorporated, a US-based global energy investment company (2006-2010), where he led and appraised debt and equity transactions for investment in Small and Medium Sized companies in Ghana and other West African countries.

Vincent has contributed to various presentations both at local and international levels and serves on a few Boards in Ghana.

Vincent is a Chartered Accountant and a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA). He holds an MBA (Finance) from Manchester Business School (The University of Manchester) and obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Statistics from the University of Ghana.
