Yaw Appiah Lartey is a Partner and the Africa Head of Infrastructure and Capital Projects (I&CP) in Financial Advisory in Deloitte Africa. He has over 15 years “Big 4” accounting firm working experience and been part of and managed several high-profile infrastructure transactions and capital projects. This includes corporate finance advisory services, M&A transactions, financial restructuring, investment appraisal, deal structuring, negotiation support and implementation. Yaw has vast experience across sectors such as energy (power, oil & gas), transportation, real estate, telecommunications, and broad infrastructure. Yaw has also been involved in Public Private Partnership (PPP), Private Sector Participation (PSP) project financing, structuring and contract negotiation for infrastructure projects valued at over $10 billion across Africa including Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, the Gambia, Kenya, Botswana, and South Africa. His functional expertise includes Infrastructure and capital projects (I&CP), economic advisory, feasibility studies, deal structuring and negotiation support.

Yaw is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (FCA). Yaw is also a Lawyer and a Member of the Ghana Bar Association (GBA). He holds a Masters’ degree from the University of Cambridge, UK.
